Do I need to have previous experience in rafting
(or in some other discipline for planned activities)?
You don't need any kind of experience. We will give you a complete training for the
days of rafting and we will guide in the execution of each one of the activities that we have programmed.
You don't have to worry, we are experts in what we do!
Are there age restrictions to make the trip?
We have had guests of all ages, from children as young as 10 to adults that only their soul can determine their age. The activities are perfectly safe for everyone, and for the more complex parts of the river, we have alternatives (horseback riding and trekking) for the little ones or those
who are not comfortable in technically complex rapids.
What kind of clothes should I bring?
Once you book your trip, we will send you a complete document with all the equipment that
you will need for our adventure. If you want to know in advance, you just have to write to us firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to send it to you.
If I have dietary restrictions, are there alternatives for me?
In case you are vegetarian, vegan or celiac (or have any other type of restriction in your diet), we will design an exclusive menu for you. All you have to do is make sure you do the request in advance, preferably, just book your trip with us.
Will I have access to showers during the expedition? Do I need to bring my towel?
Yes. Seven of the eight days that our expedition lasts, you will have access to hot showers.
Given the high level of contamination generated by washing and the constant replacement of towels,
We have asked our guests to bring their own for the trip.
Will there be somewhere to charge my computer or phone?
Our trip is an invitation to connect with nature and enjoy a unique adventure,
That is why we do not have places with electricity to charge your phone or computer.
However, if you need to recharge batteries for your camera, during the week, we will have
two chances to do so.
What are the times for transfers?
In our detailed itinerary, you can find all the transfer times according to
the day of our expedition. Do not hesitate to request it at email@example.com
Are there dangerous animals? Do I need mosquito repellent?
There are no dangerous animals, you don't have to worry! We hardly ever have mosquitoes, but
It does not hurt to bring a repellent in case we have one during the night.
Is Chile a safe country?
Chile is one of the safest countries in America.
How is the temperature in Futaleufú?
Chilean Patagonia, especially the Futaleufú area, is characterized by its microclimate that makes the weather quite unpredictable. In general, we will have sunny days, but it is not unusual for it to be cold
sometime during the day or it even rains. The ambient temperature can range from 15 to 30
degrees Celsius, while that of the river ranges from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.
How much money will I need for the trip?
Our trip is all-inclusive, but in case you want to buy
some local crafts, we recommend around two hundred dollars.
Will I have reception for my cell phone?
Until Puerto Montt you most likely have (depends on your telephone service provider),
once in Chaitén (and for the rest of the trip), it is very unlikely that you will have reception for your phone.
Will I have access to ATMs?
During the week our expedition lasts, you will not have access to ATMs.
In general, all towns have one, so you can have access before and after the trip.
How much tip should I give?
The tip is optional and of course it is in line with the level of satisfaction you have with the trip
and the service delivered by our team. In this type of trip it is usually customary to give between an eight
and ten percent of the cost of the trip.
